Along your journey in life you meet many people along the road...some of which are just acquaintances and if your lucky enough some become far more than that.
I was lucky enough to have met the latter.
However, as He told me...I waited.
I am so
happy to finally post that I got an Internship at Elle Magazine in New York City!!!!!!!
This is honestly a
post I thought I was far from ever posting. But for some reason out of all the hundreds of fashion students I go to school with, God has chosen me to go.
I feel honored that I get this amazing opportunity to live out my dreams!
However, sometimes dreams don't come without a price...
I leave to New York on June 20, but I leave on my own.
Carlos for now has to stay behind due to work, and simply that we can't afford to live in NYC
with one income. (hence the word "internship" which is the equivalent of "broke".
Although this can be a scary thought that Carlos and I would be separated, I can only hope and pray that it will be for a short while.
So with all that said...now that you know about my life, also know that I plan to revamp my blog. Not only aesthetically but I am going to let you in on every intern experience I encounter at Elle.
In closing, all this could not have happened without the help of two people which I love with all my heart....The 1st being God, of which has guided my every step
and the 2nd, you know who you are.... you have been my angel that God has used to guide my steps. Thank you for all you've done! I love you!!!
