My life has been crazy, hectic, stressful etc etc..but overall everything is great! So much has happened after my last post which seems like forever ago.
As some may know and have read that for a while now i have been talking about moving to NY.
In January I applied to to FIT in NYC. If your not familiar with FIT it's basically " the Harvard of fashion" I was really looking forward to make this big move in my life. I was so excited that I in fact sold EVERTHING in my apartment in the hopes of preparing my new life in NY.
Well that didn't turn out so well..FIT only accepted 30 credits out of my 90. I realistically could not afford to basically throw away all the money that I had already to spent. So i had to make the hard decision to for the time being, take the idea of NY out of mind. To me, that was the only way I was able t0 move on after such a hard let down.
I decided to continue school here in Miami. Time passed and NY as much as i tried not to, was always in the back of my head.
I knew i had to leave my plans and dreams in Gods hands, knowing that his ways are much bigger than mine.
Last week however, I got a call that could potentially change my life. It was one of my closest friends that I went to school with here in Miami. She transfer to FIT and landed an amazing internship at Elle, and was having the time of her life.
She updated me on everything that was going on in NY and at Elle. Then she said, " but that's not what I am calling you about" At that moment i had no idea what news she could possibly have for me.
She then continued on saying that she had gotten really close to her boss..and he had told her that he was gonna have to start looking for new interns and would prefer if the interns were referred by someone in the company, rather than some stranger.
My heart continued to drop....
Then she said, " Olivia I told my boss all about you and wants to meet you asap, you have to email him and introduce yourself to him."
I could not believe what i was hearing..i felt like i was in a dream and i was about to hit the snooze button.
I quickly emailed him and i 1 hour i got a response.
To make an even longer story short....
I HAVE AN INTERVIEW AT ELLE MAGAZINE ON MON MAY 4!!!!!!!!!!!
I have to thank God so much for opening this amazing door...and I continue to ask for guidance in exactly where i am supposed to be.
In closing, I have to apologize for being absent so long from the blogging world! I am back now and will do my best to keep you updated on my journey to NYC!!

Hey this is exciting for you, I will pray for you and hope that this all works out for you. Just leave it in God's hands and he'll take care of it, I had to do this just recently and still am. IM so glad we have met and now tell your brother he must update his blog too. Good luck and I will be waitig to here. Happy Easter

Wow. I will keep you lifted on this. It's so crazy how God works:
He can promise you "D" @ the start, and then we figure out "A" "B" and "C" in order to get to "D".
BUT just to prove that you are being faithful and relying on Him completely: He seemingly closed the door @ "A", then based on your reaction (to trust in Him), He now has jumped to "C" and now you are right back on HIS track to get to "D"
I dont know if that made any sense to you but I am encouraged, LOL. We expect a full report after you interview. :)
